Cooking Fun at Off the Grid

We didn't know what to expect at yesterday but we are so happy with the way everything turned out. Off the Grid graciously hosted Bay Leaf Kitchen and our Jr. Chef Helpers in their North Beach market. A portion of the night's sales went to supporting our awesome cooking and farm programs. It was a great turnout!

Elianna and I worked with two of our Jr. Chef Helpers, Grace and Ivy, cooking up some delicious and (very addictive) veggie potstickers. They were so easy to make and the great thing about them is that you can fill them with anything you want! We used mushrooms, scallions, carrots, and summer squash.

We also made a stone fruit and blueberry trifle. The traditional English trifle involves sponge cake but we decided to use graham crackers and San Franola Granola as our "cake layer." It didn't require an oven and it was healthier!

Thanks to everyone who came out to support us! We feel so loved and supported by our community. It's what keeps us going :)
