TEEN CAMP ages 13 - 17

Named one of Bon Appetit's 10 Coolest Cooking Camps in America, Bay Leaf Kitchen Teen Camp provides a week of advanced cooking classes for teens aged 13 - 17. Teen Camp is an opportunity for teens who love to cook to come together and explore recipes and concepts that would challenge even adult chefs.

Teen Camp is an integral part of our Summer CIT program. Any teen who register for a "CIT Package" will have one week of Teen Camp included. For CITS, Teen Camp is a culminating celebration of their hard work throughout the summer, offering an opportunity for teens to collaboratively explore their passion in the culinary arts.

Teen Campers will experience professional training from award-winning chefs. Activities include hands-on cooking, baking and recipe writing, with the session culminating in an  overnight stay at Eatwell Farm. Teens will sleep under the stars, harvest ingredients for their dishes, make s'mores, and work with guest chefs to experience, first-hand, what it is like to create entire meals from field to table.

CAMP HOURS: 9 am to 4 pm Monday ––Wednesday in the Bayview District of San Francisco, Thursday night camp-out at Eatwell Farm returning Friday afternoon at 4:00PM
GROUP SIZE: Limited to 24 Campers per session.
COST: At Bay Leaf Kitchen, we are committed to making camp a part of every kid's summer, regardless of their background. For all 2017 summer sessions, the rate is $775 and includes transportation during the farm overnight, snacks, lunch and extra samples to take home for the whole week. Financial aid will be granted for Low to Moderate Income families in amounts ranging from 25% to 100% off the price of tuition, based on household income.

We encourage all families for whom our camp tuition might present a financial obstacle to apply for aid HERE.
