AUGUST 1ST - 5TH: ADVANCED COOKING CAMp, just for teens!
MONDAY - WEDNESDAY COOKING CLASSES IN A COMMERCIAL KITCHEN AT AND OVERNIGHT at EATWELL FARM

Named one of Bon Appetit's 10 Coolest Cooking Camps in America, Bay Leaf Kitchen Teen Camp provides a week of advanced cooking classes for teens aged 13 - 17. Campers will experience professional training from award-winning Chef, Baker and Owner of Batter Bakery Jen Musty, whose baked goods were listed in 7x7's "12 Best Cookies in San Francisco," in addition to other award-winning chefs from throughout the Bay Area. Activities include hands-on baking, recipe writing, and permaculture training, with sessions building up to an overnight camping trip to Eatwell Farm. Teens will sleep under the stars, harvest ingredients for their dishes, make s'mores and work with Chef Shannon Waters of Aatxe and Cafe Du Nord to experience first-hand what it is like to create entire meals from field to table.

Hours: 9 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, plus the Thursday night camp-out sleepover
Campers Ages: 13 - 17
Group Size: Limited to 24 campers
Cost: The camper rate is $750. Cost includes transportation to farm, snacks, lunch and extra samples to take home for the whole week! Financial aid is available to those in need.
